The Colnago V5Rs Zero Offset Seatpost Black is a frame-specific component built exclusively for the V5Rs frameset — not a universal part adapted to fit, but one designed from the outset to integrate cleanly with the frame's seat tube geometry and maintain the intended silhouette of the bike. Zero offset positions the saddle directly in line with the post with no rearward setback, suiting riders whose fit places them further forward over the pedals — a common requirement in aggressive road racing positions.

Running the correct frame-matched seatpost matters beyond aesthetics. It preserves the compliance and stiffness characteristics Colnago engineered into the V5Rs, eliminates compatibility risk, and keeps the cockpit clean at the point where seatpost meets frame — details that hold up under scrutineering as much as on the road.
