The Selle SMP Carbon Saddle is built for riders who prioritize weight and performance above all else — a no-padding, stainless steel-railed road saddle designed for narrow pelvises and those who prefer a firm, direct connection to the bike. At 180g, it's one of the lightest options in the SMP range, and the weight savings don't come at the cost of the design details that make SMP saddles work.

The characteristic eagle-beak nose and open central channel — both hallmarks of SMP's ergonomic approach — are present here in full. The channel relieves pressure on soft tissue through long efforts, while the curved profile distributes load in a way that a flat saddle simply doesn't. The stainless steel frame provides the structural backbone, while the carbon shell keeps overall mass to a minimum. No cover means nothing between you and the saddle, so fit and sit bone compatibility matter more here than on a padded option.
